The Minister for Infrastructure, Hon Shane Jones announced the Government’s intention to create Te Waihanga in August 2018.
Te Waihanga's Board comprises a Chair and six directors, combining significant economic expertise with legal, financial, regulatory, and on-the-ground experience.
Te Waihanga is made up of four teams: Strategy, Major Projects, Engagement and Corporate Services and is headed by the Chief Executive (CE), who is supported by a leadership team.
